Rabbi Yoshiyahu Pinto Visits Morocco, Prays for Peace in Israel and the World

Shalom friends,

We at Shuva Israel are uplifted and inspired by Rabbi Pinto’s recent spiritual journey to Morocco. His visit was a powerful reminder of our shared heritage and a beacon of hope for the future.

As many of you know, Morocco holds a significant place in our hearts as a region with a rich Jewish history and a legacy of interfaith harmony. During his visit, Rabbi Pinto paid respects at the grave of Rabbi Chaim Pinto (the Great) in Essaouira, a beautiful coastal city with deep roots in our tradition. It was a time to honor the legacy of past generations and find strength in our shared lineage.

Rabbi Pinto shared a powerful message, expressing how the situation of the Jewish people in Morocco is encouraging, and that it is better than in both the United States and Europe. This is a testament to the harmony and mutual respect that exists in this North African kingdom, a reminder that hope and unity are always possible.

Amidst his visit, Rabbi Pinto took a moment to lead prayers “for peace for all Jews in the world and particularly for the citizens of Israel, engaged in a terrible war on the southern and northern borders of the country.” As we continue to mourn for all those who have lost their lives in the tragic conflict and continue to pray for peace in the land of Israel, he also shared his deep concern, reflecting on the ongoing pain in the Middle East. He emphasized the importance of unity and compassion in these troubled times: “We all pray for peace to soon come upon the land of Israel and throughout the entire world,” he stated.

We were deeply moved by Rabbi Pinto’s dedication to peace and justice. His visit reminded us of the importance of honoring our past, finding strength in our heritage, and working towards a brighter future for all.

At Shuva Israel, we are committed to fostering a world where peace and unity reign. Join us in praying for the end of all violence and for the dawn of a new era of understanding and reconciliation.

With love and blessings,

The Shuva Israel Team
